The Middle District of Alabama, a Federal Grand Jury returned an 11-count indictment charging the Southern Poverty Law Center with six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud, and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The SPLC, a nonprofit group that says it fights for racial justice by working to dismantle white supremacy, represents itself publicly as monitoring extremist groups and providing research to law enforcement aimed at disrupting those networks.
But according to the indictment by the Department of Justice, the acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the group “was not dismantling these groups; it was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred.”
Blanche pointed to one example outlined in the indictment, alleging that the organization paid a leadership figure involved in organizing the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which resulted in one death and dozens of injuries. That individual allegedly received about $270,000 over eight years.
In total, prosecutors allege the group paid at least $3 million between 2014 and 2023 to eight individuals affiliated with extremist organizations, including the Ku Klux Klan, National Socialist Movement, Aryan Nations-linked groups, and others.Washington Examiner
The indictment returned by the Alabama grand jury detailed how the SPLC reportedly began a “covert network” in the 1980s comprised of individuals “who were either associated with violent and extremist groups … or who had infiltrated violent extremist groups at the SPLC’s direction.”
The SPLC, however, allegedly did not inform its donors that “Some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website.”The Federalist

President Trump made a prediction in an interview with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromoi about the potential for him to nominate more justices to the Supreme Court, should seats become vacant during his tenure.
Trump’s nominees from his first term already make up three of the nine justices on the Supreme Court, the most of any president in the 21st century.
Rumors have swirled about the possible retirement of Justice Samuel Alito, 76, while Republicans are still in control of the Senate.
Other justices around the same age as Alito include Justice Sonia Sotomayor, 71, Chief Justice John Roberts, 71, and Justice Clarence Thomas, 77, but there has been no talk of impending retirement for them.
“I don’t know. It’s possible, you know. In theory, it’s two or three, they tell me”, Trump said. “f you just read statistics, it could be two, could be three, could be one. I don’t know.”

President Donald Trump revealed astonishing new details on Monday about the successful rescue mission to find the downed American airman who was left wounded in Iran for almost 48 hours.
“So in a breathtaking show of skill and precision, lethality and force, America's military descended on the area ... engaged the enemy, rescued the stranded officer, destroyed all threats and exited Iran while taking no casualties of any kind“, the President said, flanked by top officials.
The pilot had been previously rescued the day of the crash. The search was for a weapons systems officer who was lost after his F-15E went down on Good Friday.
“It was like finding a needle in a haystack”, Trump said.
“When they finally whisked the airman to safety, American soldiers blew up the aircraft stranded on the ground rather than let the military equipment fall into Iranian hands.”
“We have to find that leaker, because that's a sick person. Probably didn't realize the extent of how bad it was. I can't imagine that person did, but we're going to find out.”... “It's national security and the person that did the story will go to jail”, if they don't reveal the source of the leak.

Afshar had celebrated the deaths of U.S soldiers during President Donald Trump's ongoing war with Iran, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
Rubio wrote, “Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar [47] and her daughter [Sarinasadat Hosseiny, 25] were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.”
“Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the ‘Great Satan’.”
“This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.”
“The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.”Daily Mail

A string of baffling deaths and disappearances among United States scientists, including a retired Air Force general and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) researcher, has sparked concern.
While authorities haven't confirmed a link, several individuals had professional ties. The cases involve mysterious circumstances, with some deaths lacking autopsies, prompting further investigation into these puzzling events.
Avid hiker 60-year-old aerospace engineer Monica Reza was out with two friends walking in California's Angeles National Forest ten months ago when she vanished into thin air.
It had been a normal June day and, according to one of her companions, she'd been just 30 feet behind him, smiling and waving. When he next turned around, she was gone.
Given that she was involved in highly sensitive work as director of the Materials Processing Group at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, she had developed a “super-alloy” metal used in rockets - her very sudden disappearance might have been viewed as intrinsically suspicious.

Since Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz sounded the alarm in January about the rampant Medicare fraud inside California’s hospice system, ABC and NBC have not spent a second on their flagship morning and evening newscasts informing viewers of the billions of dollars.
These disparities in coverage do nothing but fuel speculation that the reason Swalwell is drawing the level of scrutiny is because of the California gubernatorial primary - with aid and comfort from the Biased Alphabet Media.
The continued omission of the Florida Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) scandal funneling monies from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)-funded COVID-19 contract to friends and relatives who then donated to the campaign as if using their own money and subsequent calls for expulsion all but proves it.

For those with a historical memory, what grew to be massive dissent from America’s participation in the Vietnam War arguably began when then-CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite, returned from a trip to Vietnam as war raged during the Lyndon Johnson administration, took to the televised airwaves to say:
“To say that we are mired in stalemate seems the only realistic, yet unsatisfactory, conclusion.”
Then President Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) was said to be so disturbed by Cronkite’s reporting that he is supposed to have said that “If I’ve lost Cronkite, I’ve lost Middle America.”

The crew on NASA's Artemis II mission ran into unexpected issues with Microsoft Outlook, as the email service was plagued with technical difficulties even outside of planet Earth.
About seven hours into the flight, commander Reid Wiseman reported that the email system had stopped functioning: “I also see that I have two Microsoft Outlooks and neither one of those are working”, Wiseman told Mission Control in Houston during a livestream.
The devices are also crucial for communication while in space, forcing any sort of glitch to be resolved quickly.

President Trump said that because of the United States military's might, Americans no longer fear the threat of “Nuclear Blackmail” from Tehran.
Trump recalled how the U.S. had spent years fighting in Iraq, Korea, Vietnam and two World Wars before pointing out the conflict with Iran had, so far, only lasted 32 days.
“We are in this military operation - so powerful, so brilliant - against one of the most powerful countries, for 32 days, and that country has been eviscerated and essentially is really no longer a threa.t”

President Donald Trump charged his top military officials with crafting a plan to seize Iran's nuclear material, and what they created may be one of the most daring and dangerous missions ever.
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran has roughly 970 pounds of uranium enriched to 60 percent.
Weapons-grade uranium is enriched to 90 percent, and the process of going from 60 to 90 would take a matter of days.
