Such was the case for NBC. as Kristen Welker sat down with Michigan Democrat Senate nominee Abdulrahman Mohammed El-Sayed, for what amounted to a ritual warm tongue bath.
The most notable part of the interview is what it omits: El-Sayed’s loudest surrogate, champagne socialist streamer Hasan Piker.
They addressed the elephant in the room by pretending it wasn’t there at all as El-Sayed goes from calling Obama a failure to all but calling him “Daddy”:

TDS GOES NUCLEAR: Fake Scandal Of The Week
Democrats and the media created a new Trump “scandal”, claiming that President Trump said at a Monday campaign rally that Iran should “take out” San Diego and Los Angeles with a nuclear weapon and that it would be a “very small price to pay”.
Trump, of course, was specifically saying the opposite: He said higher gas prices are a “small price to pay” for eliminating the nuclear threat that Iran could pose to cities like Los Angeles and San Diego.
