Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey filed motion to dismiss the charges of lying to Congress brought by District Attorney Lindsey Halligan in the Eastern District of Virginia.
Comey, however, has retained yet another one of his former leak recipients as a defense attorney, raising the question: Is there anyone on Comey’s defense team that he wasn’t leaking to?
According to a 2019 Office of Inspector General report, in May 2017, James Comey sent four confidential FBI memos to his personal lawyer Patrick Fitzgerald, along with instructions to share the documents with two other lawyers: Daniel Richman and David Kelley.
Fitzgerald and Kelley are Comey’s defense lawyers in the case brought by District Attorney Lindsey Halligan.
As Federalist CEO Sean Davis pointed out in an X post, Comey hiring his leak recipients as his legal team not only prevents two direct witnesses of his allegedly illegal behavior from testifying against him, but also potentially places incriminating communication between the three men under the protection of attorney-client privilege.

The fingerprints of top deep-staters in President Joe Biden’s weaponized Department of Justice are all over the launch of the corrupt “Arctic Frost” investigation, according to a document just dropped by Senator Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee
The document is initiated by the DOJ’s top generals, unleashing Arctic Frost, the flimsy FBI probe that led to politically conflicted Special Counsel Jack Smith’s election lawfare campaign against President Donald Trump. The political witch hunt aimed to take down the Democrats’ biggest political threat in advance of the 2024 election.
Dated April 4, 2022, the Memorandum for Attorney General Garland from Wray and through Monaco is an urgent request asking Garland to sign off on the FBI Washington Field Office (WFO) opening a full Sensitive Investigative Matter (SIM) into Trump, his campaign, and allies on allegations that they attempted to overthrow the 2020 election.
The memo provided very thin detail and basis to open a criminal case that appears to have trampled all over the rights of Republican groups and individuals, including Trump and members of Congress.

The House Judiciary Committee referred former CIA Director John Brennan to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution on Tuesday over allegations that he “knowingly made false statements” to Congress about his role in the Russia collusion hoax.
In the letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi obtained by The Federalist, Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, argued that “Brennan made numerous willfully and intentionally false statements of material fact contradicted by the record established by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) and the CIA”.
“Making false statements before Congress”, Jordan wrote, “is a crime that undermines the integrity of the Committee’s constitutional duty to conduct oversight”.

“No Kings” isn’t a defense of democracy at all. Instead, it’s a defense of the entrenched power of the Democratic Party.
This weekend, a reported 2,500 “No Kings” events are scheduled to occur across all 50 states in what is expected to be a much larger follow up to the “No Kings” protests that occurred back in April and June of this year.
Organizers describe their movement as a necessary defense against President Donald Trump’s supposed assault on America’s democratic foundations, believing that Trump’s actions are akin to a tyrannical ruler’s rather than the legitimate actions of a democratically elected president.
Activists are expecting the largest single day of protest in modern American history, citing increased organic opposition to the Trump administration’s attempts at enforcing immigration law, the attempted deployment of National Guard troops to Democratic-led cities, and even the recent government shutdown,
which are all being cast as examples of authoritarianism.
But a closer look at the “partners” page of the “No Kings” website contradicts the “grassroots” categorization of these “anti-authoritarian” protests.

When Democrats talk shutdown, remember they are behind the suffering they describe.
Instead of reopening the government, Democrats hosted a press conference Tuesday to advertise and recruit for one of the so-called “nonprofit” groups the left uses to launder its lawfare efforts against Trump. The presser was a perfect example of how the Democrat grift machine operates: Democrat politicians prop up groups that hide behind “nonprofit” status while doing the bidding of the left.
The beneficiary of Democrats’ free PR was Democracy Forward, a $21 million nonprofit run by infamous leftist legal fixer Marc Elias.
Not only was Elias one of the major players behind the debunked Steele dossier that launched the Russia collusion hoax, he was central to the effort to tear down election laws in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential race, paving the way for unprecedented vulnerabilities in the administration of that election. The Federalist
Liberals always present themselves as smarter than conservatives. But even their attempts to “own” the conservatives can mangle the facts. On CNN’s NewsNight, 22-year-old Meidas Touch Democrat Adam Mockler compared President Trump to Iran-backed Hamas terrorists because they were both “elected democratically”.
Earth to Mockler: Hamas had one election and never allowed another. Donald Trump won an election, then lost an election, and then won another election. America is a vibrant, contentious democracy. Meanwhile, Hamas marked its “peace deal” with Trump by executing people in the streets. Gaza fits all the Left's constant talk of authoritarian demise.News Busters.org

ARLINGTON, Va. — Come hell or high water, Democrats in Virginia are standing by their Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, who fantasized about annihilating the family of his political opponents in order to get them to “move on policy”.The Federalist
The partisans at the PBS News Hour have skipped over the scandal of Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones sending texts in 2022 wishing to murder a Republican opponent and his small children, since he was “breeding little fascists”.
With NBC having been the only broadcast network to (twice) mention on any of its flagship newscasts Democrat Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones’s 2022 texts musing about murdering Republicans, it was a significant development when Friday’s CBS Mornings aired a full segment that went into detail about Jones’s texts. The problem? Half of the report concerned the anti-Semitic, racist, and sexist messages in a Young Republicans group chat.News Busters.org

Donald Trump is planning a massive revamp of the IRS that will allow him to target wealthy Democratic donors whom the White House believes could be funding nefarious political activities.
Trump also has cooperation from Congress where Senator Ted Cruz introduced legislation to go after financial backers of this weekend's anti-Trump “No Kings” protests under the RICO Act.
Trump has previously charged Attorney General Pam Bondi with using RICO on billionaire Democrat funder George Soros, as well as protesters who chanted against him at a Washington, D.C. restaurant in September.
With liberals and their staunch mainstream media allies outraged over President Trump’s designation of ANTIFA as a domestic terrorist organization Judicial Watch is in a good position to provide history that supports the recently issued executive order because we have for years closely tracked the violent leftist movement and successfully gone after one of its most powerful leaders.

Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth were accused of “condescending and insulting” America's top generals and admirals at a highly anticipated summit.
But ex-Pentagon chiefs warned that the political speeches, which meandered through various topics from fat soldiers to Joe Biden's autopen, risked alienating the top brass.

Though Donald Trump praised as a peacemaker in the latest issue of Time magazine, the president did not approve of the photo the publication used to praise his “TRIUMPH” in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
“They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!” he continued. “I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”
The photo put a damper on Trump's victory tour in the hours following the release of all 20 living hostages held by Iran-backed Hamas terrorist group in Gaza on the morning of October 13.
“With this week’s ceasefire, we’ve achieved the most challenging breakthrough of them all, the most challenging breakthrough maybe ever”, Trump said. “I mean, I’ve never seen anything like… I’ve been involved in a lot of success. I have never seen anything like what’s going on today all over the world. People are dancing in the streets, not just in Israel. They’re dancing in the streets of countries that would’ve never danced in the street about what’s happening today.”

THE DETAILS DO NOT ADD UP
The pipe bomb analysis conducted by an FBI laboratory found the devices were filled with chemical building blocks of black powder, each was equipped with a 60-minute kitchen timer, and each had destructive potential. However, neither device exploded and they were discovered about 16 hours after the FBI claimed they were planted outside both major party headquarters.
WITNESS STATEMENTS DON'T FIR FBI'S ACCOUNT
The documents included statements from Karlin Younger, the witness who discovered the pipe bomb, and told the FBI she was certain the bomb appeared in the alleyway near her apartment during a 40-minute period just after noon on Jan. 6. This conflicts with the FBI’s account, which estimates that the bombs were both planted at about 8:16 PM on the previous night.
STRANGE COINCIDENCE INVOLVING PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP
Adding further to the mystery is a strange coincidence: the woman who discovered the pipe bomb at the RNC on the afternoon of Jan. 6 was at the time an employee of FirstNet. FirstNet is a public-private partnership between the Commerce Department and AT&T designated by Congress to maintain the nationwide public safety broadband network in use by first responders. In fact, the senior legal counsel for AT&T also serves the same role for FirstNet, which is housed under the Commerce Department.
The person who found the pipe bomb works for the company that corrupted the data, and then they tell the FBI the data wasn't corrupted, then they tell the FBI the data was corrupted. So…this is a mess that we've got to unravel”, Chairman of the Select Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee Barry Loudermilk, (R-GA), said.

U.S. President Donald Trump has been labelled a “troll champion” after he posted an AI video mocking Democrats House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Chuck Schumer.
The video posted to several of Trump’s social media accounts shows Jeffries wearing a sombrero and Schumer speaking about why Democrats are hated.
“Look, guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it; nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no votes left because of all of our woke, trans bulls***. Not even Black people want to vote for us anymore, even Latinos hate us, so we need new voters, and if we give all these illegal aliens free health care, we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us”, a deepfake version of Schumer said.
“They can't even speak English, so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of s***, you know, at least for a while until they learn English and they realise they hate us too.”
